  • Griebel Game Calls Instructional CD

This is an instructional CD that we put together. It is just under 27 minutes long. After listening to the CD, you will have learned a little bit about the basics of predator calling such as scouting, setting up, guns, fur care, and how to make the sounds needed to kill critters. It is focused on the distress calls. This cd is probably most useful to the beginning caller, but seasoned hunters may pick something up to help them in the pursuit of predators as well.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood 'Woody' Predator Call

With a mylar and stainless steel reed assembly, this call is different than any of our other predator calls. It is a loud high pitched woodpecker distress call. We can’t hunt bobcats yet here in Iowa but some of our customers say this is call to buy if you want to kill a big tom. Interestingly enough, this is the only call any of the field staff have called in bocats with here in Iowa. If you’ve never tried a bird distress for coyotes it is just different enough to bring in critters you’ve already educated. “Woody” will also make great high pitched small animal distress squeals making it even more versatile.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Black Death Crow Call

Our crow call, just like our other products, sounds just right. When you're out in the woods chasing gobblers, a crow call can be your best friend. Locate toms before you stumble across them. You'll know where they are and crow sounds won't scare them away. We've also found that making a few crow sounds while predator hunting helps coyotes and fox feel a bit more comfortable on their way to the call. Of course a crow call is a must when your hunting crows. If you've never tried it, you're missing out. The shooting can be fast and furious. Give this call a try and you'll see why we call it Black Death. None of us go to the turkey woods with out one.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Loess Hills Howler

A lot of predator hunters have taken to the field in recent years. Some have been very successful, others have educated a lot of critters, especially coyotes. Howling can add a whole different approach to your calling arsenal. It is very effective through out the entire year. By learning to use a howler you’ll be able to hit that territorial nerve or better yet, take advantage of a coyote’s instinct to mate. You can be sure that howling will get you more shots at ‘yotes. We use a Dan Thompson reed that has proven to be the best ever made. With a little practice, you will be able to make all of the sounds in the coyote vocabulary including great male, female, and pup howls. Wounded dog sounds are really easy to make, and with a little effort you can make fawn bleats, jackrabbit sounds, and woodpecker sounds. Also, if you are a turkey hunter, this call will be a great asset to you when you’re trying to locate gobblers.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Long Range Double Reed Predator Call

The Long Range Double Reed does all the things that the Long Range call does. This call is fairly loud and quite a bit higher pitched than the Long Range call. It is also a small animal distress call. Although this call is still really easy to blow, it does take a little bit more air to produce sound that makes coyotes come on the run. High pitched sounds carry farther. If you think that predators aren't hearing you, or are used to hearing the sounds you make, pick up one of these calls and heat up your barrel.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Long Range Predator Call

Our Long Range Predator call is a screamer and one of our favorites. If you want to cover large areas during your stands, or call critters on windy days, this is what you need. It is a small animal distress call that is semi-raspy and will make your ears ring (especially in the house, just ask my wife). It will reach predators that are way out there. Again, you don't have to blow hard to get that perfect sound. This call is also useful in especially wide open areas or after snow has covered all of the tree limbs (snow muffles sound) in brushy areas. We use this call a lot late in the season when the predator population has gone down and we need sound to reach out a little further to find a critter.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Medium Range Double Reed Predator Call

Our medium range double reed does everything the medium range does but with a higher pitch. Bobcat hunters have said this is one of their favorites. It also provides you with a little bit different sound than a lot of other calls on the market. We’ve found this call to be especially effective early in the fall. The young fox and ’yotes seem to respond to it very well. A double reed call takes a little bit more air than the single reeds but is still easy to use.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Medium Range Predator Call

Our medium range predator call is just that. It is a small animal distress call that produces a sweet, raspy sound that will definitely get the attention of predators. The best part is you don't have to blow hard to make it work properly. This is probably our most popular call. It works great on calm days, in the crepuscular periods of the day, and especially at night (be sure to check local regulations). Since it’s a medium range call, you'll need to make your stands a little closer together on windy days.

  • Griebel Handmade Hardwood Predator Coaxer

This is a short-range finishing call. We normally use it as a squeaker, but it will also make soft, higher pitched squeals. It is just what you need to get predators, especially red fox, to come those extra few steps or walk out from behind a bush or tree. This call is fool proof. If you can breath, you can make noise with it.
